A 21-year-old man, Allan Plata, has been arrested for the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Amber Parsons in Orange, California. Orange – A man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old woman in Orange, highlighting a troubling incident that unfolded in the early hours of May 6. The victim, identified as Amber Parsons from Costa Mesa, was driving her Honda SUV with a passenger when the attack occurred.
The shooting took place around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highland Street and Del Mar Avenue. Parsons was in the process of turning around in a cul-de-sac when the gunman approached on foot and began firing at their vehicle from behind. Unfortunately, Parsons was struck by gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene, while her passenger, a woman in her 20s, escaped uninjured.

After the assailant fled the scene before authorities arrived, investigators quickly identified the suspect as Allan Plata, a 21-year-old resident of Orange. Plata now faces multiple charges, including murder, attempted murder, and probation violation and has been booked at the Orange County Jail.
