The screenings will take place at the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza in Orange County, providing a vibrant setting for families and friends to gather outdoors and enjoy cinematic classics.

The movie series is designed to foster community engagement and bring people together for an enjoyable experience. This summer’s lineup features a diverse selection of films that cater to audiences of all ages. The screening schedule includes:

  • July 7: Coco (2017) – Rated PG, runtime 109 minutes.
  • July 14: Crazy Rich Asians (2018) – Rated PG-13, runtime 120 minutes.
  • July 21: A League of Their Own (1992) – Rated PG, runtime 128 minutes.
  • July 28: The Princess Diaries (2001) – Rated PG-13, runtime 114 minutes.
  • August 4: In the Heights (2021) – Rated PG-13, runtime 142 minutes.

Movie showings will begin at dusk, around 8 p.m., while guests are welcome to arrive starting at 5:30 p.m. to secure their spots. Prior to each film screening, visitors can enjoy pre-show activities planned from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Seating will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, encouraging attendees to arrive early for the best viewing experience.

As part of the outdoor ambiance, attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks, chairs, blankets, and picnic items. However, large food setups including tables and barbecue grills are not permitted in the plaza area. For those wishing to purchase meals, food trucks will be present on-site, although the specific vendors will be revealed closer to the event dates. Additionally, George’s Café will be open, providing a selection of beverages for guests to enjoy throughout the screenings.

As a note for adult attendees, outside alcohol is not allowed. However, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase for those aged 21 and over. Each film showing will also feature closed captioning, enhancing accessibility for all viewers. The emphasis this year is to create unforgettable summer memories for families attending the event.
